it's that time of year when not much can be done in the
garden. now is the time for cleaning and removing
the dead plants and adding mulch to others.
since there isn't much to do at the demo garden
right now, we haven't been spending a lot of time
there. we decided to go and see the condition of the
beds and make a note of what to do the next time we
have a warm, sunny day to work there.
darry walking through the main garden.
one of the old trial gardens; the blueberries still have
some pretty red leaves on them
new to the demo garden this year was a grass garden.
the plants did very well and they have large plumes
to show off to all who visit.
the little test orchard is asleep until spring. we will
wait patiently for next years peaches and apples.
